DACS have recently completed the full M&E installation, commissioning & certification associated with providing all of the station power & lighting requirements to an ATKINS design package for Stobart / Birse Rail. Works included the manufacturing of the LV power control panels at our Control Panel manufacturing facility.
DACS have recently completed the full Retail Telecoms installation, commissioning & certification associated with providing all of the Retail Telecom requirements to an ATKINS design package for Stobart / Birse Rail.
To date DACS Rail have carried out a total of 6 DDA Step Free M&E Projects for Birse Rail & are in negotiations with various tier one supplies to undertake additional M&E Step Free Projects across the UK.
Projects completed to date:
Scotland: Rutherglen Station, Motherwell Station & Barrhead Station.
England: Bracknell Station, Kidderminster Station & Orpington Station.
The scope of works covered the supply, installation, commissioning & certification of the associated Power & Lighting requirements.
One of the first operations performed for the client on these DDA step free projects was the works associated with surveying & relocating or stripping out of any power / lighting or telecom cabling etc within the foot print of the new bridge foundations.
DACS were also tasked with the surveying & relocating or stripping out of any power / lighting or telecom cabling etc associated with the removal of the redundant bridge structures once the new facility was open to the public.
During the course of the M&E works associated with the 6 DDA Step Free Projects undertaken to date, Dacs has been responsible for the supply, installation, commissioning & certification of the New CCTV / PA requirements.
DACS were also tasked with the re-arrangements of the existing CCTV / PA / CIS & Help Point systems as required suiting the new station / platform layouts.
DACS have recently completed the full Operational Telecoms installation, commissioning & certification associated with the provision of a fully operational DOO system to an ATKINS design package for Stobart / Birse Rail.
The system covered the following Car Stop Arrangements:
Platform One
12 Car StopPlatform Two
12 Car StopDACS have been involved in the manufacture, supply, installation & commissioning of various CRT / TFT DOO systems for approximately 10 years now, and have recently successfully completed the Bedford to Moorgate and GNR project’s in conjunction with Babcock Rail comprising of 26 Stations totalling 60 platforms of DOO in all.
DACS are currently Link-Up accredited to undertake the following works:
DACS are currently awaiting a Link-Up audit / accreditation covering the installation of concrete bases for use as Flange Mounted Lamp Post’s & DOO CCTV / Mirror Structures.
